Monika Santucci has been a name that keeps popping up in talks of the music world in California – but the secret is rapidly spreading across the USA and beyond. Widely recognized as one of LA’s fastest rising all-rounders, Monika has continuously racked up a huge booking and release schedule. Her infectious combination of pop sensibility and bass driven beats is genre-shattering and could only be cultivated through an entire life of experience and inspiration in music.
Her personalized brand of dance music is catching attention from all corners of the earth, helping to expand her already impressive international following. Her music bridges the gap successfully between commercial viability and the traditional requirements for club success in a unique way that has seldom been seen before. Her repertoire is diverse sonically; but at the core of all her songs is a fundamentally sound structure and melody. The songs have an alluring ability to be visceral and exciting- yet simultaneously familiar and palatable.
From LA to San Francisco; Monika Santucci has toured California extensively and supported high-profile acts such as Paul Oakenfold, Will Sparks, Audien, Steve Smooth and Posso. She headlines and performs regularly at internationally-renown venues such as Avalon, Ruby Skye, Create, Temple, Buffalo Club, The Mezzanine, SupperClub, The Grand, 41 Ocean and more.
She has had releases with a long list of labels including Feenixpawl’s Eclypse Records, Porter Robinson-supported Bone Rizing Records, Nextgen Records (Sony), 360M/D.A.R.E. Recordings, Momentum Records, Sparks Global as well as Paradoxium Records. Monika has received support and radio play from artists such as Apek, Feenixpawl, Maximals and Etta Matters.
Her self-titled premiere EP garnered a significant amount of buzz and interest. Her song “Just Drive” was selected for the Pop/Rock Feedback Panel at the 2012 ASCAP EXPO. She signed a licensing deal with Zoobie Inc. and her music has aired on the LOGO Network for the show “Eden’s World” in April 2012. Her music has also been featured in commercials for John August’s (Big Fish, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle) FDX Reader application for the iPad.
